Synopsis

In Jerome K. Jerome’s Three Men in a Boat, narrator J., George, Harris, and their dog Montmorency set off on a boating holiday along the River Thames. They hope the trip will restore their health and spirits, but packing troubles, cooking mishaps, and their own questionable boating skills turn the outing into one comic episode after another. The humor is observational, dry, and warmly British. Jerome makes everyday inconveniences hilarious through witty narration, self-deprecation, and the friends’ bickering good-naturedly through their misadventures. It’s a lighthearted travel comedy full of memorable stories and amusing observations.
