Clean Humor Books ("we," "us," or "our") operates CleanHumorBooks.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you give us. We collect the information you choose to submit through our forms:

• Newsletter signup — your email address.
• Contact form — your name, email address, and message.
• Book submissions — your name, email address, book details, author bio, any social media handles you share, and the files you upload (such as a manuscript, book cover, and author photo).

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit — for security and to keep the Site running. We do not run our own advertising trackers or analytics profiles on the Site. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address in order to deliver those fonts.

Cookies & Affiliate Links

Some links on the Site are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click an affiliate link, the retailer — such as Amazon or Bookshop.org — may set its own cookies to credit a resulting purchase. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Site:

• Service providers who help us operate — including our website host (Netlify) and our email provider (Microsoft 365).
• When you click out to a retailer or social platform, that company's own privacy policy applies.
• If required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data Retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

Your Choices & Rights

• Newsletter — unsubscribe anytime using the link in our emails, or by emailing us.
• Access, correction, or deletion — email hello@cleanhumorbooks.com and we'll help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
