Synopsis

William Brown and his friends, the Outlaws, turn ordinary days into adventures of their own making. Whether they mistake a harmless man for a magician or try to solve someone else’s problem, their schemes tend to go sideways in surprising ways. The book is a collection of stories first published in 1927. William’s bold imagination and earnest confidence set the comedy in motion, while his friends add their own ideas to the confusion. The stories keep the humor playful and clean.
